Cell 9 Construction Update

Cell 9 construction has begun. The first step in the construction process is to clear the Cell 9 area of trees and vegetation. The tree and vegetation debris from the land clearing will be burned on-site. This one-time approval to burn land clearing debris was granted by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division on April 10, 2026, and a burn permit from the Georgia Forestry Commission will be obtained prior to burning the land clearing debris.
